Undo changes to this line

Restores the previous values for filter settings displayed in the right-hand window.

Cut

Cuts selected text to the Windows clipboard. If the current control is the filter tree, this cuts the selected filter and its sub filters to the clipboard.

Copy

Copies selected text to the Windows clipboard. If the current control is the filter tree, this copies the selected filter and its sub filters to the clipboard. To Copy an entire filter tree to the clipboard, right click the top-most node (logging options) and choose Copy.

Paste

Pastes text from the Windows clipboard to the current cursor position. TextPipe escapes special characters e.g. for a single line edit control, carriage return/line feeds are escaped to \r\n. If the current control is the filter tree, and a filter has been Cut or Copied to the clipboard, this pastes the filters into the filter tree.

Paste special

Pastes text from the Windows clipboard without any intervention from TextPipe (normally TextPipe escapes special characters e.g. for a single line edit control, carriage return/line feeds are escaped to \r\n).

Delete

Deletes the currently selected text.

Duplicate current filter (x2)

Copies the filter underneath the cursor (and all of its sub filters) and inserts it below the current cursor position. The [x2] button can also be clicked to perform the same action.

Clear clipboard

Clear the current clipboard contents.

Select All

Selects all the text in the current control. Has no effect if the current control is the filter tree. To Copy an entire filter tree to the clipboard, right click the top-most node (logging options) and choose Copy.

Toggle filter enable/disable

Toggles the filter under the cursor between an enabled and disabled state. When disabled, a filter takes no part in filter processing. Disabled filters are shown with a red cross over their icon. This menu item is only available when the Filters to Apply tab is displayed.

Filters can also be toggled by double clicking on them in the filter list.

Preferences

Displays the preferences dialog
